Biography

John Kerley has been an attorney in Springfield for more than 25 years. He is inspired by the relationships he develops with clients. He has had numerous successes and vast experience in personal injury, estate planning, wills, trusts, guardianships and probate.

He studied at the law school at Southern Illinois University. There he was editor of the law review and authored two published articles. After graduating with honors, John moved to Springfield with this wife, Deborah.

John has worked as an associate for the highly respected law firm of Heyl, Royster, Voelker & Allen. He has handled all types of injury cases, many involving millions of dollars. From auto accidents to farm accidents and from minor injuries to fatalities, he has successfully resolved a wide variety of his clients' claims.

John has also has assisted people to prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney and living wills. John also assists with guardianship for minors and the elderly who need protection and guidance with their affairs. His experience includes helping the elderly qualify for nursing home and Medicaid benefits.
